Mywedding.com

I work for Mywedding.com. If you are unfamiliar with us, Mywedding.com is a free wedding website dedicated to providing resources to brides and grooms. We are entirely free for couples and intend to stay that way. Period. Pretty sweet? Yeah. We have around 50-something city-specific sites up full of wedding vendors and resources...everything from flowers to hotels to valet services to photographers. And we're adding more all the time. That's where I come in. I work on adding more cities/states to the list so that we can cater to people nation wide, in all regions, leaving no one out. We also have other bonus resources for brides and grooms that rock socks off. Here are a few:

FREE Wedding Websites: I love this feature. Basically you get to create your own website for your wedding, completely free. It's almost like a glorified myspace page...except for your wedding specifically. There are wedding-specific features like a page telling your story, a wedding party section, photo album, and our newest feature, your very own wedding blog. YAY FOR BLOGS!! The themes and designs you get to choose from also have a bonus feature: you can get wedding invitations that match. OMG. That's all I've got to say. So your wedding invitations go out...a link to your wedding website is included...and voila! Your website is the final touch to your invitation and not only that but your guests get to find out more information about how you met, etc. I think that's the flippin coolest idea, personally. You should too. And I'm not just saying that cuz I work there.
Blogs on Everything Wedding: We publish daily blogs on everything you could imagine related to weddings. Whether it's reception ideas, wedding etiquette, what-not-to-buy the newly married couple, wedding traditions from other cultures, these blogs are not only helpful and creative...they're also just entertaining to read.
Wishpot- The Next Generation of Wedding Registries: Wishpot is a new program we started a few months ago. Basically...this is how it works. 1. Create your account. 2. Go to ANY website (yes...ANY)...and add whatever you want to your Wishpot which can be added conveniently as a button to your web browser through creating your account (oh yeah...this is all FREE of course). 3. Display your new, shiny, FREE Wishpot registry on your FREE wedding website. So why is that cool? Because your guests can just go to your website (from the link in your invitations) and view your ENTIRE registry (whether it's from 4 stores or 80) there. SWEET. I'm pretty sure even my grandma could handle that (she's 89).
