One of my favorite movies that I wrote about awhile ago is Across the Universe. And one of my favorite songs within that movie is "Happiness is a Warm Gun."
Salma Hayek has a great cameo appearance during this song as several nurses. When I first saw the preview for the film, I got chills and still get chills during this song every time I hear it. I love how the songs have a new symbolism that comes out of them just because of the imagery that the music creates to go along with them. It's chillingly artistic. And chillingly artistic is a very good thing. Today I'm most likely sleeping in (I'm writing this yesterday) at my friend Jenna's house after the Phantom of the Opera. I'll tell you how it was...later.
