It is here...we have finally arrived at our destination, our new home, New Bern of North Carolina. I'm beside myself and keep wondering if I'll wake up and still be in the car or worse...in my room at home...finding it all to be a big, amazing dream. But it's not. We're here. And...? I love it. I really do. Within 15 minutes of entering New Bern, I turned to John and said
"I love it here." I'm ecstatic about my enthusiasm and excitement. I am tempted to rush into all the details about the town now...but before I can do that...I've gotta start documenting our trip so the past 8 days on the road aren't forgotten. New Bern, my new friend, you will have to wait. But soon I'll elaborate...I promise.
