Thai Breakfasts Under Juniper Trees

I crave breakfast. But not any breakfast. I crave the Thai breakfast that would be served to us whenever we would stay in Thailand at a little missionary retreat center called The Juniper Tree. They would serve all kinds of fruit on large platters to choose from: papaya, mango, pineapple, dragon fruit among others. They also had toast with rich, dark Thai brown sugar and a cereal that always made me think of what Manna must have tasted like. Slightly sweet like honey. My favorite breakfast would be a piece of toast with butter and the Thai brown sugar and then papaya and some of the brown sugar would mix with the papaya juices. SOooo frickin good. *SIGH* Brings back so many memories just thinking about it. Memories of warm rain...buckets and buckets of it dumping from the sky. The streets seemed to always flood instantly in Thailand when it rained cuz when it rained, IT RAINED. It felt like shower water.
The Juniper Tree was a great place. I want to go back to that area someday.
